Riverside Clan Dancers

Riverside Clan Dancers

We started a little group of Scottish dancers, ages 4-7.

They had just 3 lessons before the annual Variety Show for the Our Lady of Guadalupe Home Schoolers.

They rallied. We're so proud of them!

Watch them in this 2 part video, performing the Virginia Reel. And pay no attention to the lady behind the curtain (the one on the left, anyway).

It's a wonder how anyone else gets any sleep around here!

She does sleep in her own bed, but usually around 4 or 5 AM, she manages to not only squeeze between us, but take over the entire bed.

Baby Killer Whale Joins Puget Sound Population

A baby orca has been spotted with the Puget Sound population of killer whales.

The new arrival -- scientists don't know yet if it's male or female -- brings the number of orcas up to 86. The population was declared endangered in 2005 by the federal government.
